The Nicks

I've written on the blog before that this blog is my virtual 'baby book' for the girls. I don't scrapbook, they don't have a hard cover baby book, and I don't seem to write much down so the blog serves as all I have to keep up with my memories...which, in comparison to my brother, it doesn't seem I have much memory capacity. So as much as I love sharing pictures with those of you who visit the blog, some posts are just so I can capture a moment of our little lives. This is one of those posts.

 

Cate has such a loving, nurturing spirit. Her teachers comment about how much she loves on the other kids and on her babydolls. She is especially loving to animals, and tries to carry around Puppy Lucy as much as she can. Right now she is very much a mama's girl, always wanting to be held by me. Her verbal skills are developing and she is saying more words - last night she called herself "Cate". She views Caroline as the neatest person in the world and wants to imitate everything big sis does. She still doesn't have much hair but she has a mouthful of teeth and enjoys standing on the stool in the bathroom and pretending to comb her hair and clean her teeth. When she wants something she is persistent until she gets it. She loves wearing hats, especially the one pictured above! We are so lucky to have our sweet, sweet Lee Catherine!
