A peek at the new house
A few pictures from the new place!
Great built-ins!

One of our two pink bathrooms. We can't get away from that baby pink style.

Cookies with my little Monster
After a fun day of Halloween costume shopping and frolicing at the Harvestfest in Hillcrest I was in the mood to make something festive. I knew Caroline would be in the mood to help if there was chocolate involved so we found a fun Halloween kid-friendly receipe for Candy Monsters! With these ingredients how can you go wrong:
Don't let the pictures fool you...it was hard to keep her not eating all of these as she made them! See that chocolate face in the last one! Recipe here.
Good news! The offer on the house was accepted! It was a total impulse buy so we are going to go back and check it out tonight! Pics soon...you are going to die when you see the size of the pantry! Lots of storage to keep the ingredients of Candy Monsters on hand!

Three months and growing!
Moving has been challenging. Let me rephrase that. Moving with two kids has been challenging! It has been a bit of starting over with our support team where in Memphis we were lucky to have found great doctors. Since moving I have been trying to find a new pediatrician for Cate's check-up. We were referred to Dr. Choate in NLR and we finally had her 2 month check up today!
She is 24.25" and almost 14 pounds! She is really such a good baby and for that I am so thankful because I'm not sure how I would make it in the midst of this chaos if she wasn't! She sleeps all night long - I usually have to wake her up to eat in the mornings - and she easily switches from the bottle to nurse. Oh, and she never complains when Big Sister decides to pick her up when Mom isn't watching!
A 3 month picture to come soon!

I heart LR
I recently picked up a Little Rock Visitor's Guide because even though I am not a visitor I am new to this quaint little city. In the guide is the Top 12 list of things to do in LR. A quick run down:
1. Clinton Presidential Library and Park
2. River Market District
3. Heifer International
4. Downtown Museums
5. MacArthur Park
6. Historic Quapaw Quarter
7. Mosaic Templars Cultural Center
8. Central High School
9. Arkansas State Capitol
10. War Memorial Park
11. Ark River Trail
12. Pinnacle Mountain
Today Cate and I hit the Clinton Presidential Park recently blessed by the former President over the weekend and I was shocked to see how busy it was with tourists! (Cate was shocked too as you can tell by the second photo taken on the Junction Bridge.)
I commend the city of LR for doing such a great job on the entire riverfront park area and am looking forward to crossing the Top 12 off our list as we get to know Little Rock!
