So much fun that I just downloaded 200 pics to go through! So until I weed through those here's a pic of Catey Baby (as Caro calls her). Cate had her 4 month check up today (a little behind schedule) and she measured 17.5 lbs (half of Caroline now!) and 26.5". In the 80th percentile and looking good! She is the happiest baby ever... even when she can't sleep due to a bad cough! She rolls over, puts everything in her mouth, laughs out loud at her sister, and daddy says she is a mama's girl.

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Number One refused so Cate had to do Santa solo. She didn't quite know what to think...

My brilliant husband has figured out the best way to make Number One obey...call Santa or even threaten to call him. (We've had to call him twice in that past 24 hours since discovering this tactic.) Unfortunately this can only be used for 6 more days.

Pajama Day?

Caroline will be four next month. We have a daily battle every morning about what she is going to wear which is particularly difficult since she doesn't like to wear pants - especially jeans or anything she deems as 'jeans' (aka anything with buttons). So when she woke up today and said it was pajama day I was trying to decide if I should trust her.

AFter I got to school I was glad to see that she was right!

This Week

Sweet Catey Cate turned five months this week! We tried cereal. She was clearly happy about it...

This week was also our first full week in the house and getting into our new routine with school. I know it's been two weeks since Thanksgiving but this week made me feel very thankful. Thankful to have two beautiful girls and Chris, to be surrounded by our families again, and for all the support they have given us during these past few months as we transitioned. We are blessed by a very generous God.

First day (again)

Yesterday C & C started a new daycare 'school' in NLR closer to our house. I am so proud of Caroline for being so adaptable to the variety of different environments we have thrown her into the past few months. Hopefully we are settled for a while now!
