Today was a crazy day, but a day to savor. It was my great-grandmother's 90th birthday! In true southern style there was a fish-fry in her honor with her 120 closest friends. As I was feeling sorry for myself at 3 am this morning trying to get my 6-month old to go to sleep I thought about my Mimi and what it must have been like to raise six children. (Pity party over.) She has now helped raise over 90 children and I am lucky to be one of them!
Tonight we also celebrated Cate's christening. It was very special to have her christened at Argenta UMC by Will and in the presence of so many family. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful support system to raise our girls!
Children are a gift from God; they are His reward.
