Another plug for downtown

I say this every spring but I'll say it again: my favorite time to be on Mud Island is in the spring! Today was a real treat because I was given the VIP tour at the Island's newest boutique hotel, the River Inn. I have to say the prices are steep but if you want to indulge yourself then that's where to do it. Super nice suites with fireplaces and river views, two yummy restaurants (one that I got to taste-test today), and in the heart of HarborTown.
