Although she claims to be very unhappy about it, Cate is playing soccer!

Her second practice (where clearly Dad forgot to put her hair in a ponytail with a huge bow):

At the end of practice right after she said, "I quit!".

Cate's first day!

Happy first day of 3rd grade!

With my little sponge at the Esse Purse Museum in the SOMA district of downtown Little Rock.

It is a given that critical skills are gained when on the family compound. Sure enough, today the girls learned the fine art of cutting Sunday lunch pie. Luckily no pie ended up on the 1997 Beebe Badger cheerleading uniform.

She really does seem this little on the court, and super cute at the same time! Despite the heat, throwing up in the parking lot, and a few bad losses, she is eaten up with playing tennis!

Happy birthday to our Bug!

Our Cate turns 5 today!

At 44 lbs she is in the 75 percentile for weight and 95% for height.
