A wow weekend

As I lay in bed (pooped) I can't believe it's already Sunday night. Where did our weekend go? Oh yeah...here...

Friday evening we caught the beginning of the War Memorial Hot Air Balloon Festival. It was very cool watching the balloons being aired up!

 But then this group (below) became impatient and couldn't wait until dark to see the balloons lift off.

It was our first trip to War Memorial Park and it was fun! See my little Caroline next to the dino!

Saturday was Caroline's first dance recital! Here we are prepping for show time. (Get the Toddlers and Tiaras thought out of your head.) Despite my directions to Chris he didn't get any still pictures of the performance so for the gripping live dance video you'll have to come over to watch it! ; )

What happens after a great dance performance? A trip to TCBY!

Caroline and Norah both had their first boat rides this weekend. A sunset boat cruise on Lake Hamilton with the White clan was a great weekend treat!

I'm not sure if there is another baby in the entire world that smiles and laughs as much as our baby Cate! I've mentioned on the blog before that NO ONE can make Cate laugh like her big sister does! Caroline can be in the pursuit of trying to drag Cate around by her toes and Cate is still contagiously laughing! The last year has flown by - I can't believe she is approaching turning one and that I won't have a baby anymore! Right now she is very much a momma's girl and wants to be held. She isn't walking but can stand up for a few seconds on her own. She still has more teeth than hairs on her head! We are so blessed to have our precious girls!

Our Poppa Willie was recognized this year as Beebe Citizen of the Year! What a great recognition for all the hard work he does as fire chief!

And our Aunt Pam was honored as Beebe Teacher of Year at the same banquet. What great role models our girls have around them! Caroline and I had to miss the banquet, but, thanks Morgan, for sharing your pic!

P.S. I can't believe my Catey Cate will be 11 months old tomorrow! She is a ball of fire!

Our home computer that we download all of our pictures on is on the fritz so in the meantime here are a few phone pics.
