Happy President's Week!

At school this week Caroline has been learning all about U.S. Presidents. It's amazing what she retains. She wanted to tell us all about it tonight:

Unrelated to the presidents, I've been trying to think about what to post in response to finding out that we are having a girl but I can't seem to find the words to describe it. Maybe because it still doesn't seem real that I am going to be a mom of two little princesses (did you notice the Snow White dress adorned by C in the video?). It has been a joy sharing the news but the reaction that will most stick in my memory is the one from Caroline. Seeing her eyes become big and bright I realized that I am not just having a daughter, but Caroline is having a sister. Brother or sister, a sibling is a special thing.

Thank you, Audra, for reminding me that it is so close to time to find out what baby #2 is that I shouldn't be able to stand it!!! Regardless of the gender Caroline has given the baby the name "Kiki". So we'll find out if baby Kiki will be a boy or a girl on Friday morning!
