Spring Break?
Mr. Nick has been on spring break this week, and thank goodness he has because we never could have survived the bathroom remodel (although we aren't done yet). So, on one hand, I feel bad that he really hasn't had a break, but then again I've been at work too and I wouldn't want him to have too much fun without me...ha!
In the midst of dust and construction this week I realized that on my spring break 15(!) years ago Chris and I went on our first date. We paused for a second to celebrate, reminisce, and think ahead to the fact that in another 15 years I'll be 47 and have daughters 17 and 20. I look forward to Chris Nick being by my side for those next 15+!

There goes the baby pink bathroom!
Chris and I have owned two houses in our lives together and, of the three bathrooms in the two houses, both were adorned in baby pink tile. As charming as baby pink is to our current mid-century home, the subfloor in the master bath is rotting from moisture so an overhaul of the bath is necessary. Demolition time! Here we are on day #2.

My Sunday morning choir
Like everyone else feeling the pain of the time change right now, I will state the obvious: I hate 'springing' forward. Yesterday we didn't make it to church due, of course, to the time change, however, I had a single-member choir at home. Here she is belting it out in full -force, although she says she won't sing at all this Wednesday night at the spring fling for her school.
